You just cant ask for better weather in January. With a wind chill of -3 and an almost constant breeze there is no better day for adventuring. Ryan and myself set out at 12 noon on an adventure that took us to several locations from Attleboro to Pawtucket, and finally dumping us out in Woonsocket. To start things off we headed out to Advanced Waste Water for a bit of "Public Access To Public Works" as we call it. Here are a few of the shots i took:
After leaving that location we decided to try and hit two spots in Pawt. that we figured would be relatively easy. Unfortunately, both locations were compromised in one way or another so off to Woonsocket we went. Our first stop in the fine city was the deconstruction of a mill complex i had wanted to access for a long time. Unfortunately the demolition had left the building in an extremely unstable state, so we decided to bail on this one. On our way back into Manville we passed by a building with some interesting graffiti on it so we decided to stop in for a peak.
Finally our last stop of the day was the tunnels underneath were the old Manville-Jenks Mill once stood. We didn't venture in due to the fact that the tunnels are filled with clay sludge from years of water saturation, but a return trip has been planned. I have already entered the tunnels once, but unfortunately i did not have capability to get any good shots on the interior, but here's and exterior of the main tunnel entrance.
